Our Foundation

Matriarchal Vision: Faith, Literacy, Legacy

We empower Black women leaders to cultivate home libraries anchored in faith, identity, and the enduring power of Black literature. Our mission is to nurture intergenerational wisdom, page by page, prayer by prayer.

Purpose

Why we exist-

To awaken the family to their God-given leadership responsibility and influence in the lives of their kids in their family

Mission

What we intentionally do-

Conscious Matriarchs intentionally connect with, nurture, and cultivate intimate relationships with their grandchildren through reading and reflection- becoming increasingly conscious of their leadership responsibility by being aware, acknowledging, and addressing the needs development, and potential of the next generation.

Vision

What we want to see-

Generations of grandchildren who are deeply connected to their families, grounded in identity and character, and cultivated by conscious Matriarchs who intentionally use their leadership influence to help them grow and flourish.

Our Story

The Genesis of Conscious Matriarchs

Conscious Matriarchs began with a spiritual calling to bridge faith, literacy, and family heritage. Our journey started from a deep understanding that generational legacy is not inherited by chance, but curated through intentional discipleship and sacred fellowship.

We equip Black mothers, educators, and spiritual leaders with resources to steward cultural and literary treasures. Our commitment extends to fostering a vibrant community where matriarchal wisdom and timeless stories align for future generations.

Our Sacred Vow

Building Legacy Through Sacred Fellowship and Prayer

We stand firm in our dedication to nurturing the love of reading Black authors, inspiring generations through faith, and fostering discipleship. This is our promise to empower matriarchs to shape a future rich in literary heritage.
